(Annisa) 4 : 140

And surely We have revealed in the Book that if you happen to hear Lord Allah’s verses as hidden and ridiculed, you shouldn't sit with them until they change their speeches other than it; if you sit with them, then you are just like them, indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers all together in Hell.

It is told in verse 6: 68: "Whenever you see those who are ridiculing Our verses, then you avert from them till they are involved in speeches besides that, and if Satan is making you forget it, then you shouldn't sit there with the wrongdoing people after you are reminded". Lord has taught through his Messenger: "You recite the Book only when your reading is in harmony with your heart when both of them (heart and reading) are apart, you stop reading and mind in your business. The Book will witness an argument either in favor or against you. So if the Book is read without knowing the content, the read Book will witness and argue against the reader". Lord will question the faculty of hearing, sight, and intelligence as told in verse 17: 36. If one does a deed without the participation of the soul, his body will witness against him as told in verses 41: 19-24. The believer is commanded not to hear the talks of the Arabic Quran reading hypocrites since they are knowingly hiding, distorting, and misinterpreting Lord's verses. The believer is also commanded not to obey any of the Fujjar since they are destined to the seven doors of Hell as told in verse 15: 44. See explanation 3: 10, 78; 4: 43, and 8: 22.
